The Best Deal is NO Deal: How We walked Away from Shark Tank
If you've ever been on the receiving end of a business deal gone south, you know the feeling of relief and happiness that comes with finally being free from the negotiation process. So, imagine our elation when we walked away from the Shark Tank without a deal!
We had originally gone on the show with the hopes of securing an investment to help us grow our business. But after hours of deliberation, the Sharks just couldn't see eye-to-eye with us on valuation. So, we walked away without a deal.
And you know what? We couldn't be happier.
Now, don't get us wrong, it would have been nice to have had an infusion of cash to help us grow. But at the end of the day, we didn't want to give up a majority stake in our company for what the Sharks were offering. And we're glad we held out for what we believe our company is worth.
So, if you're in the middle of a negotiation that's not going your way, don't despair. Sometimes, the best deal is no deal. And you might just find yourself walking away from the table feeling happier than you ever thought possible.
The best deal is NO deal.
When it comes to negotiating, the best deal is often no deal at all. This is because reaching an agreement often means that one or both parties are not getting what they really want. It is better to walk away from a deal than to make a bad one.
Of course, this is not always possible, and sometimes a deal is the best option. However, if you can walk away from a deal, it is often the best course of action.
